Our goal is to send out the AAUW Kona Branch Newsletter four times a year -- February, May, August, and November -- and ideally at the beginning of the month.

Currently, members are sent copies of the newsletter in "rich text format" (RTF) via e-mail. Almost any word processing program should be able to open an RTF file. Hard copies of the newsletter are sent upon request to those AAUW Kona Branch members who do not have e-mail and/or who can not open attachments.

Past copies of AAUW Kona Branch newsletters will be available for download from this page once we have hosting set up with a secure members only section because some of the newsletters contain the personal information on members, such as phone numbers, addresses, and photos which they may not wish distributed on the internet. You will need your member name and password to access these files.

PDF format is used for the newsletter archives because PDF files are normally smaller than RTFs and the Adobe Reader is available as a free download. However, when a newsletter issue originally appeared in RTF format, it is available here in both formats.
