E-Mail Support
NOTICE: Email was upgraded and moved on Nov 3, 2011.
Please see our upgrade announcements
page to see the messages we've sent to turquoise.net email users
about the upgrade.
- New SECURE webmail:
mail.aloha.net
- Your old mailbox will be available until Nov 17 at
oldmail.turquoise.net.
- Your old mail has been imported into the new system already.
If you believe you're missing email, please
contact support.
- Postini has been replaced by an integrated antispam/antivirus
solution. You will no longer have a separate quarantine
at login.postini.com.
Spam is now delivered directly to your "Junk" folder.
- We have migrated your Postini blacklists and whitelists, but
not your other spam settings. Please doublecheck your antispam config in
the new webmail after the migration.
- We can't auto-migrate webmail address books. If you have an
important list of contacts in webmail now, please be sure to add them
to the new system after your service is upgraded. Please see our
address book instructions below.
Email Settings
Starting Nov 3, 2011
In brief, you can use
mail.aloha.net
for nearly everything. It supports secure connections, so it is the
recommended hostname to use for webmail and when configuring incoming
& outgoing mail.
| Incoming Mail Server (IMAP or POP3) |
mail.aloha.net or mail.turquoise.net
Important:
- Log in with yourname@turquoise.net.
- Use POP if you want to download all mail to a single computer.
- Use IMAP for anything else, particularly if you read mail
from more than one computer or your phone, or use webmail.
|
| Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) |
mail.aloha.net or smtp.turquoise.net
Important:
- Log in with yourname@turquoise.net.
- You can use this server even if you travel or have another
ISP. Just make sure you configure SMTP authentication using
your email address.
relay.aloha.net
You can use this if you're a high-speed customer without
a Turquoise mailbox. You just have to be on our network,
so you do not have to use SMTP authentication.
